New house- bad decision?

I was walking across the causeway and I dropped James' mitts. One of them landed on the ice below, so I walked round to get it. John and Randy were in the water ice, not sure what they were doing. By the time I got down, the ice had rapidly been melting and it was half ice and half water and it would be tricky to get to the mitt.

We put an offer in on a house. A big house. So the owners moved out, even though there was 2 months until the closure of the sale. At first we were happy, but then I realized that we hadn't done a building inspection and I wanted that done. Then this lady told me that 40,000 sq. feet of it was top heavy. It was by the river and people were warning us about the water levels. The house was on the way to Gan. and I realized it was too far out to do all my walking- that we would have to drive into the city. Myron didn't understand- he said I did this walking all the time. He didn't see that I couldn't anymore. I wanted to change my mind. Could I change my mind?

G&A

G. had taken up golf. There was a map of the different holes and he was trying to learn them.

They bought 2 gold balls and 2 fishing lure type things. Annette was trying to keep it hushed up, like noone should know they spent the money on the this stuff.

There were different territories. I asked A. what their responsibility was to this one territory. She didn't know. She thought there was no more responsibility.

presentation

There was a guy doing a presentation in khaki pants (slightly dirty). He said he was a B____ minister (Baptist? Bahai? Basil?) and now he was giving these presentations.

millennium

The dream took place on a giant space ship (like the millennium falcon). My work was there and there was a school. James used to be able to find my office but he couldn't now- it was too complicated. I was also looking for something and couldn't find it. I ended up at the school. Why did they let me in if I had no business there? I went to the store. In the candy aisle there were some people as I passed by. I thought they were kids from the school at first but as I was in the next aisle and saw them come out- I saw they were ambulance attendants with a sick girl/lady in their bag. (I couldn't see in the bag) They were about ready to transport her to the hospital when the power went out. It was out for a few minutes and then came back but kept going on and off so it was difficult to transport her. I was trying to figure out what is wrong with her.

I was in a supermarket and a couple of my students were there who had not handed in a project report. They were guessing what they could do to make it up. I laughed and asked them if they wanted to right answer and told them they could hand it in during the summer and I would mark it. I left out the bit about them having to reregister in order for the mark to be released, but they were happy for now, we'd sort the rest out later.

Jose's wife and daughter were in a van with another woman and her blonde daughter, Jasmin. Both daughters went to Queen's. There was a storm coming so Jose's daughter took off running really fast. Black pants. I remembered that I had laundry to take down but didn't know if I should wait for her to get back.

There were graduation antics. The students had written so many words on the pavement.

surprise babies

Lynann was supposed to be at a meeting but she didn't show up because she had a baby. I hadn't even been able to tell she was pregnant!

Another guy also had a baby, John H. was looking after it.

sales

Dream at my mom's house. I had finished a box of ritz-type crackers and hadn't put the box in the correct place so my mom didn't know to buy more.

We were in a meeting room. Downstairs and upstairs there were shops to draw you away. They were having 10-15% off sales like S&R

Bleach

Al needed some bleach for his sermon, so I was searching in my bathroom cupboard. I found the Vim and took it out, but then I found the one I was looking for- the spray bleach. I told him how much I loved spray bleach!

I was cleaning on top of the bathroom cupboard with these tiny little coloured sponges and weeping for my father.

delivery

In my dream Sarah was heavy with child and labouring. (the poor gal just has a baby and then spends time in my dreams labouring still. go figure)
This was a very busy dream with Shari and helping people as a focus. But very busy. So busy, I'm really tired now!

carnage

I was on the roof of a moving train (maybe with James) and we were travelling beside some water. You could look out at the water and see that there were two different currents. In between the 2 currents there was an island. It just looked right.

In the second dream there was a party in a house and everything was fine when suddenly everyone pulled out guns and there was mass carnage! Weird and disturbing that.

moving in

We were moving in with Paul and Sarah into a small apartment. We couldn't move until May 1 so the plastic stuff we just left in front of the apartment building as it was ok to be rained on. We weren't worried about people stealing stuff in the dream. The apartment was so small I was worried about having so many people in one space but Sarah wasn't worried at all- she was planning on keeping the kids in the backyard all the time. There were trees there to shield them from the sun. I was buting as much paint as I could to paint the apt.

Chemistry lab

We were finishing up a chemistry lab and my boss (Jim) and I were fielding questions. I was taking the ones I could and he was taking the biology related ones.
We dismissed them. One guy had not handed in his paper for #4 so I had to help him by looking for someone from chemistry to give it to.

I got an email from a guy who I was in a class with. At the end of the email he asked if I was a Christian. I talked to him in person and asked why he asked that. I asked if he was a Christian, but before he replied, I knew he wasn't so I asked if he was not a Christian. He said he was a muslim.

Conference

Jared and Sam were organizing some sort of conference.

Someone was over for dinner and I think I was serving pizza, but I made them spread their own dough. The dough was like chocolate chip cookie dough. I was making a crust too and trying not to let it get dirty. There were so many ways it could get dirty.

In the family room someone else was holding something and when I went by it fell. It was colourful when it fell. I said I guess I would have to clean that up.

Book

Last night's dream may have had something to do with a book and a library. I only remembered a bit this evening.

On sleeping and sadness

This dream was located at the pendulum at work. My students were making some sort of contraption around it, but the pendulum kept swinging and knocking it down. Elsa was the TA. She came to me about some students that had put something (a bat) in the machine wrong and it wasn't working anymore. They wanted to go, but I said it was only 10 minutes into the lab and they could use another machine!

Tammie left her wooden flip flops in my office, under my desk. She had gone up to my lab first.

different

In my dream things were different than reality (surprise!). The temperature was 3 degrees off and the time was off. So when I woke up, I was confused as to what the time was! I also woke up with a sort of out-of-the-box solution to a work issue.

Stealing

I was in a house and some men came in to steal things, so I picked up the phone to call 911. I was whispering on the phone because the men were nearby. But I wasn't getting through to the 911 people because James had picked up the other line! I ended up having to run out of the house and jump off a ledge onto the sidewalk.

In the next dream, I knew some people were going to go in a place to steal things. All sorts of backpacks were outside- empty ready to be loaded. There was even a backpack of mine. There was a security guard by the backpacks. I hugged him but he was very stiff. It occurred to me that maybe he thought I was going to steal stuff, but I wasn't.

Traveling

Patsy and Gary were building a tent and then Gary decided there was something structurally wrong with the tent and started to re-build it with an extension.

We were down by the beach and there was a plane overhead. It made a black line and then there was a parachutist. The chutist tried to go back but eventually decided to drop and went splash in the water. We went looking for him/her.

There was a contraption called a snowshoe car that had these big huge inflatable wheels and could travel on top of the water, a bit like a water spider.

I woke up after these dreams about 4am, then got back to sleep and had this one:

I was at the top of a hill with lots of cars and there was someone at the bottom. My parents had a detachable car, so I closed it up. I thought one side of the windows were open but they were actually double windows, so there was a clear layer (that was closed) and a darker layer that was in unusual shapes that was down.

There was a security booth at the bottom of the hill. A girl went in to ask about the showers and then went back out with someone following her.

Testing

Boeing made a new type of airplane to deliver people to submarines. You had to wear Boeing wetsuits. There was an older guy (60s) doing the testing. Lesley also volunteered and was able to do it as well.

There was a big buffet. I was helping other people, mainly those that had come from my table, by pointing out things and picking up things. I had two things on my plate- something white and some long slices of pickles. I was using a knife to point things out to people with forks.
There was a 'leftover' station with older food grouped together by expiry date. The oldest food was labeled 'This has to go'.
There was a blind girl that I took around and asked questions for.

I was on a bus sitting beside a black girl and talking to her about Jesus. I explained that if we give our life to Jesus, He washes away our sins. He doesn't change who we are but gives God inside to help us. You just need to pray and ask Him.
Later, I wanted to go back to follow up and offer to pray with her.

I saw the green bin pickup, he was doing one at a time.

There were bombs that would be triggered with a certain frequency. There were three pairs of children walking down the aisle. One of the children was talking at that frequency. He had to be switched off on the screen.

Parent

I eventually got back to sleep after my last post and I had a 3 part dream, but right now I only remember 2 of the parts (the first and the third)

1. I was lying down with James and we were looking on the wall beside us as there was a slide show on the wall of James. They were very cute pictures. James had red peppers stuck to his eyelashes as he watched. The red peppers felt and looked funny.

3. We were watching this on TV news report: There was a stage production going on. A girl dressed like a princess maybe in blue was looking down from an upper level. She saw her guy on the stage with another girl. She was so angry she flew into a rage and started hitting people, maybe killing them. When she went into a rage the camera angle was from the back of the stage so the tv audience could hear what was going on, but didn't have a clear shot at seeing it.

On waking my thoughts were that God treasures us, that He has screen shots of us, that He treasures our memories, but it is very hard for Him to watch when we do bad things

Road block

I was riding my bike. At one point a truck stopped right in front of me (going perpendicular) at an intersection.

At another point I was biking (to the left, which seems backwards) and I decided to do this rectangular loop to get there. So I traveled much further but the destination was the same.

Marla and I were in a room and I was trying to get the code for the computer but I kept getting it wrong.

I asked Loanne if I could use more than one coupon. She said not normally but this week they were allowing it. I think I was buying ice cream.

There was a lady in the store carrying around a huge cake.

I was having to go to a small grocery store that was out of my way to get something I wanted.

Dancing!

There was a lot going on in this dream, but I only remember the end, when everyone came together in a library and there was a song on the tape player praising Jesus and we were dancing with abandon waving ribbon/cloths in the air.

At the end, we dance.

Dead baby mice

Al was digging in my front flower bed and I said "what are you doing?"
and Al said he was looking for something. Al was taking more and more
dirt out and then Al started taking my tulips out and i was "hey, those
are my tulips". Was he going to put them back? He said he was looking
for baby mice. They were in my flowers. Then I could see them too, but the
ones I saw were on the sidewalk in front of the garden and they were dead.

Next dream, in Rustle. I was sitting near the front with James, trying to
keep his feet off the communion table and Shari came up and was surprised
because there was a box full of Hatch magazines on the table and she
didn't know hatch was coming out at the time.

I was on an upper level in my parents place. When you came down the stairs from the high room there was a balcony. You had to go left or right. I thought- I hope James doesn't jump, but I knew that even if he did, he would be ok because he is young.

student

Dreamt that Paul was a physics intern student. That he was learning by doing.

I also dream that I was wearing blue. When I dressed this morning I picked the shirt that looked the most like the one I was wearing in my dream. Lord knows I need any help I can get in getting dressed!
