Totem poles

I was looking at 2 totem poles that were supposed to be a teaching experience. I was supposed to help make decisions and plan things out with regards to the poles, but I didn't end up having to do much.

The hockey union

James tearfully called me saying I needed to make him an appointment with the doctor because the hockey union demanded it to keep him from going on strike.

There were a list of 10 demands.

I had to get some things for James and  was stuck for payment and I had to get some guy (like a hood) to help us and then hope he didn't need to collect too early.

I was going to flush away his white jersey but instead put it in a big bucket to wash it.

Hamster

From earlier in Feb:

We were driving to the grocery store. It was early in the morning. We drove straight. There were so many turn lanes in the opposite direction, but we drove straight.

The selling of houses

Dreamt that in between the selling of the Nelson st house and the College St house there was another house the I bought and sold. I bought it but because James was a baby it was never suitable for him so I turned around and sold it within a few months. It was a pretty big house and it had crops growing. I was (or become) friends with the lady who purchased it from me and so I hung out there a lot. More than when I owned it. I felt so comfortable I asked her about a light fixture, hoping to buy it, but she got offended by the question saying she had bought the house fair and square and I couldn't take that away from her. I had been willing to pay.
Someone knocked on the door and the kids opened it and there was a chair on wheels. Not in great shape but ok. When the lady went to get it it had rolled off the porch over the crops and was rolling down the street. Someone put on rollerblades and took off after it leaving some ruts in the crops. Was it worth it?

Farija

There was a girl named Farija who was one of my students who I was helping because she had a condition that caused her not to feel her toe. People kept thinking it was awful and looking away but it wasn't so bad. I had my arm around her waist to hold her up. Brian was watching me.

Lynann was going to speak and the room was full and quiet and I walked in because she wanted me there. Everything was still quiet and she had not started yet. Then some other people came in and people started clapping but I wasn't sure why. One of the people may have been Farija and they were encouraging her.

There were these slides in the hillside with conveyor belts with balls on them. I was trying to figure out where the balls were coming from.

breakfast

working with kids in a really cool space, it was like a loft with 2 covered alcoves and light coming in from above. it was beautiful and i didn't want to leave. al was teaching the kids.

in the morning i woke up for breakfast with michael s. I was still in my pajamas and my hair wasn't brushed but it did not seem to matter.
