chasing crocs

Dreamt I was on a wooden pier looking out at the water. The water looked peaceful and flat but I knew there was a dangerous alligator in the water. So I decided to catch it. I took out a fishing line and threw it in the water. It was a very shallow area I threw it in, only a few inches deep. But I caught him almost immediately. However, now that I had him I didn't know what to do. I shouted at people to get off the beach (it was a rocky one not all sand) so that they would be safe but I didn't know what to do next.

To dream that you are running away from the alligator indicates that you are unwilling to confront some painful and disturbing aspect of your subconscious. There is some potentially destructive emotion that you are refusing to acknowledge and owning up to.

I think this is good as I was doing the opposite- I wasn't running, I was actively pursuing!

To see a crocodile in your dream symbolizes freedom, hidden strength and power. It also forewarns of hidden danger. Someone near you is giving you bad advice and is trying to sway you into poor decisions. Because crocodiles can live in water and on land, they also represent your conscious and subconscious and the emotional and rational. Perhaps something is coming to the surface and you are on the verge of some new awareness.

In another dream there were some small babies. One was so small she was almost invisible. She was so small and hard to see we had trouble keeping hold of her and not loosing her. She could slip among the rocks and we couldn't find her.

fly to ottawa

James and I ere flying a small plane and we also needed to get to Ottawa. We'd only ever flown in Kingston so I wasn't sure if we should fly to Ottawa as that was a new airport.

Karen N. was there with her Christmas lights. She was checking if they worked and kept leaving them places.

There were problems with the plumbing someone had taken the taps off.

chase down

we were expecting someone to arrive that we would need to chase. he wasn't expected for about 15 minutes or so so I popped into the bathroom. It was a long narrow bathroom and I ran to about the middle and picked a stall there, hoping that he wouldn't arrive early.

after nap:
Karrie needed a nap so Nat stepped outside- I was like where is the baby? He kind of brushed off the question.

Bas was out on a date with a girl- maybe named Ginny or Ginelle and she was demanding all sorts of things from him. She was so glad that he told people about them because she liked the commitment. I was laughing at them as I walked right in front of them.

I went across the complex to use the bathroom. Lina was in the room looking at the table and counting. I waited for her to go and then I locked the door. Then I realized she hadn't closed the door properly. So I closed it and locked it. There was only a small bit of toilet paper left so I took that and tried to go, but there was a class setting up for a class photo and I was worried that I would be in the mirror would go on the "uncomfortable class photos" site.

James and I were supposed to be watching something like a tv show but it was live so we were on the roof. I was trying to figure out what room he was in and if he had his sunscreen on.

hamburger

Up at 6am
Dreamt that I had a bunch of hamburger patties. I think I was going to give them away. Some were half cooked, some were not. At first I was keeping them in a cool cupboard but then I realized that it was not as cool as the fridge and I moved them. I had made something to go with the hamburgers- maybe green chips and had arranged them in a pattern on one side of the plate. Al ate them.

After brief morning nap:

Hanging laundry with the white pants mixed in with the darks.

Must we renovate all parts of the house at the same time?

Dreamt all the rooms in the house were being renovated at the same time. Concrete was poured over the whole floor, including the drains, but you could peel it off.

Something about AJ and if he could continue to come over.

The school had kids on the roof but with no fence. They were flying Star Wars ships up there. Very dangerous for the kids!

mess

I was trying out prosthetic legs for a venture that we were doing and I also needed a wheelchair. But I fell out of the wheelchair on a cliff and was injured because of the legs.

Brian had some people over to his house. One of his kids (I think a daughter) had made a mess (either bathroom or throw up) on the floor. He and his wife were so like this was a throwback. They didn't think this would happen anymore.

sochi

There was some food ordered for a large group of people. Ana had asked Sochi to make one of the dips as he makes the best dips. The rest were ordinary.
There were lists of instructions and the instructions for me were to ask Aphra for all the assorted things.
This all took place in a library type area.

Don't forget the soldiers

10 years ago Shari had sent a package to the military. I was walking on the sidewalk and we were walking toward each other and I was asking her what we were doing for the military now.

There was a store and we were buying things. There was a guy who didn't have enough money but he put all he had on the counter and the clerk was ok.

There were all these hand in boxes. It amused me that there were 2 side by side one saying hand in things face up and the other saying that they should be handed in face down. It didn't really matter which box we chose as the same key opened them all.

audition

There were quite elaborate outfits for James to wear for his job. The seemed to be the one piece sleeper kind. He wouldn't try them on though, so I had to guess if they would fit.

James and Myron were going to fly to Vancouver so I was making the preparations, knowing how the trip would tire Myron out.

don't drop the baby

there was a baby but it was an adult. it was born very small and I was worried about it falling off the counter that it had been put on.
someone brought by a change table or something like that but covered in blankets and soft things. We put the baby in it. But then someone decided to move the change table across the road (or farther). At first I was ok as I knew there were a lot of blankets to keep the baby safe but as they were going down the stairs the table was on a tip and it looked like the baby was going to fall out.

Jumping through construction

There was a lot of construction going on outside my house. I was getting ready to jump down and the worker was reluctant to get out of my way. I explained to him why I couldn't go the other way. Then he moved and I jumped and got past the construction.

Saying goodbye

At 5:40 I woke up after I had been upstairs with a man who was dying (I think my grandfather). As I came downstairs I was crying because he had passed away and the phone was ringing. I didn't get to the phone on time. I knew it was my parents and they would call back. I was crying and in no shape to talk. James and I hugged.

Earlier I had gone to a store to buy a drink. I was paying with change and I paid 5 cents extra. At this store, they always kept the extra- I didn't mind.

There was a sparrow that flew onto the porch and was trapped. I told my family not to open the door to the house as it would be harder to get him out. But of course, someone did and he was in the house. However, he was not trouble at all and he came right to me and perched on my finger and talked to me while I was getting him back outside. Freedom!

Lake turns

Watching people bike a route. K. Lake was as well- with beer on the back. Biking a mostly straight route with some turns. Having to avoid children who run in front.

casual restaurant

I went to a restaurant where it was pretty casual about where and what you ate. They had a big meal out in the center of the table and you could sit down and take some. I stood awkwardly for a bit but then sat down and took some. I think it was cheesy and gooey. I had a water as well. But there were a lot of waters around. I had to double check a lot. The guy beside me thought he had my water because it was more salty. I was puzzled by that.

find him

Someone had taken James and I was searching all over. I made a video but I couldn't figure out how to email it to the news media. I heard he was back and I wanted to find the news article to show people. He was quieter than usual when he came back.

Monica complained about the roast because it burned but I told her is was 2 and I put a new on it - it would be ready for 6:30.

I had given Anne a container with a VHS tape. She thanked me as she returned it but I could have given something better.

Headlining Kim

Dreamt that Kim was going to speak at her church. We arrived about an hour early. To get to the front we had to get down the steps. They were super steep so at points I had to sit down. When we got down we went into a little room at the back. She was looking for the purple book that was one of my text books. I went back out to try to find where it had gone to. Kim may have been black when I left.

Was over at Dave S's house with Shieleen. The elder kids and the younger kids looked very similar only differing in size. Their cats did some crazy things. The 5 and 6 year old looked like twins.
