Competition

I was part of the staff of some sort of competition.
My boss was a tall thin man (Binu?)
I had to raise the name of the winner on a little piece of paper in the room. The piece of paper went in a handle.
Sometimes I had to run and find things.

Bicycle paragliding

A new mode of transportation for the future.
A bicycle attached to a parachute. You can fly in the air and bike on the ground. There were also double ones with 2 bicycles and 2 parachutes attached together (one in front of the other). They were corporate and personal.

There was a race using small cars. Such pride in the cars even though they were so small. I was to bake for the race but then something had come up and it was unsure if they would actually race.

They were doing construction on the causeway and I was trying to organize how everyone would be able to get through.

Long night

Conference in the long thin hall
I was helping prepare a conference that was taking place in long thin hall. It was difficult to get the sound right so we had taken a break to move some of the mats. They had to be perpendicular to each other to form a cross. When we though we had it fixed, I walked up the long narrow walkway in the center to get to my seat near the front.

Skating on the melting ice
I was skating on the ice but it was starting to melt so slushy on top so had to be careful (A trigger for this is James had a shinny game scheduled for tonight but they were unsure if it would go ahead based on the recent warmed weather, but it evidently did freeze enough for the game)

There was a mum with a little bitty baby. I offered to take the baby so she could get some rest. As soon as she gave me the baby it started to cry so she thought about taking her back but I said not to worry, that I hadn't done this in a while but it would come back.

The wind turbine years

I was out for a walk with Deborah and she told me she was pregnant. She was very happy. I put my head on her belly and asked her if it was a boy or a girl. I knew it was too early to medically tell but I wondered what she thought it was. She said she never thought of it being either.

I was going to a meeting with Drew and we stopped in this room. There was a pile of papers that was the speech and I asked if I should photocopy. Drew said yes, but Brent said no and took it away from me. He said it was a draft. Then he and Drew went to the photocopier to work on something and I wandered around the room that was cluttered with odd things. There was a tell all book there that had things written about people from our office. I read mine and it said that my mistakes from the wind turbines in the war years weighed heavily on me. I laughed and said to Joanne when there was a space that I was only a fetus in my mother's womb during the war years and was not working with wind turbines. (This is even incorrect as it was my mother who was a fetus in HER mother's womb closest to the war, not me!)

There was a guy who taught a class at Queen's and he said the last class was good. I asked where it was and he said Queen's north. It's about a 2 day journey. You need to take dog sleds too. I was like that's quite a commute. I don't have time for that sort of communte! And think of all the energy it uses.

Dreamt I was with Karen N. and she was trying to help me. She had locked me in the bathroom. She said she did that with her mother and mother-in-law as well to keep them from twisting in the wind. She was in the bathroom with me.

Purple cloth

James was playing and I wanted to hang this purple cloth on the wall over top where he was playing. He objected, I think.

2 sinks

dreamt that i was at rmc and had to use the bathroom. there were 2 sinks and I had to figure out which one had the hot water. It was only hot water that I wanted.

momento

Dreamt I was on a trip with James and we were in a gift store at the end and he was looking for a momento of the trip. He was doing a meticulous search of the shop to find just the right thing.

speaker

There was a lady who was speaking at the center of a 360 auditorium. It was beautifully done in wood. She was speaking from the Bible from the chapter "Gwen's version" (or whatever her name was).
