Al

In my dream Shari was away for 3 weeks, so Al was having to eat on his own. He only had 3 things he would eat- chicken (or some main dish), pink wafer cookies and 2 bite brownies.
The pink wafer cookies he liked because they were soft and he was worried about a filling at the back of his mouth falling out.
He also had this scientific thing in his house that was supposed to oscillate and give a printout of the oscillation, but every now and then it would go completely crazy and the oscillation would not look at all like an oscillation. This may have been because water was getting in the machinery. There was a fountain that seemed to be made in the base of it. James was watching. He thought it great fun.
Then James and I went to some type of school/university we had the choice of taking the bus or the train/subway. You used the same ticket for each. I think we took the bus? Good transit anyway. We stopped and got out and entered the student cafeteria. In the first part of the cafeteria, there weren't many people, but when we got to the non-English speaking section, it was suddenly full. The section with semi-English speaking people was semi-full.
Al was talking to this chinese looking guy on the street and decided he wanted to take him to a movie. Al got in his car. The guy didn't make any move to get in. I got in the back seat, leaving the front seat free for the guy. Al drove up on the sidewalk, closer to the guy. Al was explaining what movie he wanted to see. The movie was in French. Al opened the passenger side door wide open to let the guy get in.
Then in RL James got up.
